These crystals are shaped like tablet or square plates. As you can see the color of the mineral can vary from yellow-orange to green. Wulfenite is a secondary mineral that is formed in the oxidized zone (arid zone) of ore deposits containing minerals of lead and molybdenum. Wulfenite was name after FX Wulffen (1728-1805) the Austrian mineralogist.
