Citrine Brazil

Crystallized quartz, citrine has a yellow color caused by the presents of iron trixiod. Most commercial citrine is a heat-treated amethysts. Brazilian amethyst will start turning yellow at 878 F. Lighter colors are achieved by higher temperatures.
