A Cave Bear Jaw Fossil

20,000 year old cave bear jaw bone.

One more exciting specimen we have here at is a large half of a lower jaw bone of a Cave Bear. It's a wonderful specimen. Three teeth are still set in the jaw. The giant incisor can be removed to look at the root which is over 4" long. To further explore this superb specimen, simply move your mouse pointer over the image and watch what happens!
