Also know as Peacock ore. These sample are prized because of the different color tarnishing that occurs when the samples are exposure to a moist atmosphere. They all have a metallic luster that ranges from red, purple to greenish gold and yellow gold. Bornite is fun to collect because it sometime resembles the gold or copper ores.
